Conservation rebinding on:

Thomas Mante, The History of the Late War in North-America,
and the islands of the West-Indies, London, 1772.

This volume was received in a 19th century rebinding in very poor condition.
The extant binding was discarded, and the volume was rebound in a period style
re-utilizing the extant sewing.

Quarter calf binding with marbled paper, titled on a red lettering piece
and tooled along the bands in gold leaf.

11 1/4" x 9 1/4" x 2".

Rebound in 2012.
